CityCenter

The new Residences at CityCenter offers luxury condos for sale with an amazing combination of style, features and amenities. In fact, there’s everything one would ever need inside this 10-acre live, work and play environment. But there’s also a world outside this incredible community.

The redevelopment of the Washington Convention Center which was demolished in 2004, posed logistical challenges to be sure. The site was at least three time larger than any normal city block. But there was also enormous benefits if done correctly—the sheer size allowed the CityCenter project to connect with other prime Downtown DC neighborhoods like Penn Quarter, Chinatown, Mount Vernon Triangle and Capitol Hill. This place is huge!

The 216 upscale condos are inside two 11-story towers located at 920 and 925 H Street NW. There’s several other buildings as well for apartment rentals, office space, hotels, ground-floor retail and dining. There’s even a 1.5 acre park and an outdoor plaza. And in order to not have CityCenter feel completely encapsulated, the planners created extensions of 10th Street and I Street that run through the superblock.

What's Inside CityCenter?

The number of high-end boutique retailers is simply stunning. A tiny sampling includes Boss, Kate Spade New York, David Yurman, Gucci, Hermes, Dior, Gucci, Paul Stewart, Alexis Bittar—the list goes on and on with dozens of top shopping destinations.

But people also need to eat. For your morning caffeine fix, enjoy concoctions from expert baristas at Dolcezza. And, the eateries range from casual to gourmet. There’s French chef Daniel Boulud’s DBGB DC in a bi-level space modeled after his famous NYC location. Or consider Amy Brandwein’s modern Italian cuisine at Centrolina or straight-ahead American fare at Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse.

There’s so much more of course, including 520,000 square feet of office space, roof gardens, a public park with fountain, and other intriguing places to explore. A Westin Hotel is already open and a 360-room Conrad Hilton Hotel with a restaurant from Chef Bryant Voltaggio is due in 2019.

Plus, luxury condos for sale at the Residences at CityCenter are incredible, with modern open space concepts, soaring ceilings, Euro-style kitchens and balconies. Residents are pampered with 24/7 concierge service, rooftop lounges and outdoor cooking, a bar, yoga studio, state-of-the-art fitness and more.

What’s Outside CityCenter?

CityCenter qualifies as its own neighborhood with New Urbanism principles and conveniences. But residents might actually want to step outside their wonderful bubble world on occasion. When that happens, they’ll find the electric energy of Downtown Washington DC waiting.

The number of bars, restaurants, museums, galleries and entertainment in the immediate area is staggering. Grab some food at Matchbox, Vipiano, Café Mozart or Chinatown. Bar-hop at Iron Horse Tap Room, The Partisan, Denson Liquor Bar or ultra-trendy barmini by Jose Andres.

You can stroll along the National Mall, visit the Smithsonian or catch a musical at The National Theatre. And if you happen to be employed on the Hill you can walk to work. Or if you commute elsewhere, just hop on at Metro Center or Gallery Place-Chinatown!

In short, CityCenter and the Residences at CityCenter are redefining the urban fabric of Washington DC. Check out the available condos for sale today!
