Andre Perez is the Founder and Principal of District Partners at Compass, where he leads a design driven real estate practice specializing in modern, mid century, contemporary, and luxury properties throughout the Washington Metropolitan Area. Since beginning his real estate career in 1997, Andre has closed more than $1 billion in residential and commercial transactions, building a reputation for strategic guidance, elevated marketing, and a deep appreciation for architecturally significant homes and lifestyle-driven real estate.
Andre’s path into real estate is shaped by both entrepreneurial vision and mortgage lending expertise. During his time in the financial sector, he served as Vice President of Emerging Markets at Pinnacle Financial, where he led the number one sales team in the nation and became the firm’s number one producer. This financial background continues to inform the advisory approach he brings to buyers, sellers, and investors today.
In 2009, Andre founded District One Properties in Alexandria, Virginia. The firm quickly gained recognition for its personalized service and innovative marketing approach. As the business expanded and the market evolved, District One grew into District Partners, a modern real estate platform focused on concierge representation, design-oriented marketing, and strategic advisory.
Today, District Partners operates within Compass, one of the most innovative real estate brokerages in the country. Under Andre’s leadership, the team blends market intelligence, elevated marketing, and Compass’s technology driven platform to position properties with precision and maximize value for clients. His work frequently involves architecturally significant homes and design-forward properties where thoughtful presentation and targeted exposure are essential.
Born in Latin America and having immigrated to the United States at the age of 18, Andre brings a global perspective to his work and frequently advises both domestic and international clients relocating to or investing in the Washington region.
Andre lives in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife Anastasia and their three daughters. His professional philosophy is rooted in the belief that great real estate is deeply connected to design, architecture, and the way people experience a home.
