Located at 300 Garrett Morgan Boulevard in the community of Summerfield, Maryland is the Morgan Boulevard Metro Station. This above-ground transit stop provides Silver Line service as well as the Blue Line. The smallish bedroom community is known for its pleasant environment as well as attractive homes for sale that are also surprisingly affordable.

The suburb is about nine miles from Washington, DC, a reasonable distance for commuters, considering both the Metrorail option and the close proximity to the Capital Beltway. Other Metro stations in the area include Landover and Largo Town Center.

Summerfield is in Prince George’s County, an area that invested heavily in new home construction just prior to the national real estate crash of the mid-2000s. The housing inventory near the Morgan Boulevard Silver Line typically favors spacious detached single-family houses and upscale townhomes.
