The Silver Line is but one of five electric rail routes offered at the L’Enfant Plaza Metro Station in Washington, DC. The station is named for the adjacent L’Enfant Plaza and is connected through direct access. The plaza itself is a large and well-known shopping and cultural mall that has been undergoing a major makeover.
While this particular area—south of the National Mall and north of the Southwest Waterfront—is best known for shopping, museums and federal office buildings, there are also some intriguing residential properties—chiefly condos and cooperatives for sale.
