More about Properties for Sale near Federal Center SW Silver Line

While this neighborhood primarily caters to office buildings, there are also some residential properties for sale. These tend to be condominiums rather than single-family homes. Also, many of the structures are contemporary in nature, built since the end of World War II, including some that are quite new.

Many of the condos for sale are found on the outskirts of Southwest, either near the Southwest Waterfront border or the Capitol Hill border.

But given the compressed urban nature of DC, residents of any of these condominiums will find themselves within easy walking distance of federal government offices such as the U.S. Capitol Building, the Supreme Court or even the White House.

Additional Information about the Area

The close proximity of the National Mall and its many museums—including multiple Smithsonian branches—is another bonus for those interested in living in the area.
