The Foggy Bottom Orange Line is one of three lines served by the Foggy Bottom-GWU Metro Station in Washington, DC. The actual street location is 2301 I Street NW in the Foggy Bottom neighborhood, close to the George Washington University (GWU).
The station also serves the Blue and Silver Lines, and is the last DC stop before crossing under the Potomac River and emerging on the other side in Arlington, Virginia. The Foggy Bottom neighborhood is home to the State Department and other federal government offices and is roughly a half-dozen blocks from the White House.
