Located in Washington, DC’s Northwest quadrant, not far from the Maryland border, is the charming community of Tenleytown. It may be more commonly associated with tree-lined streets and large single-family homes, but there are also some very nice condos for sale here.

More About Tenleytown
Tenleytown dates back to the 1700s and features the highest elevation in the city, a factor that led to the construction of Fort Reno (originally named Fort Pennsylvania) in 1861. These days, Fort Reno Park features tennis instruction, live concerts and other attractions.
Residential development in the community picked up steam in the 1920s. In the 1940s, an iconic Streamline Moderne Sears Robuck store was constructed on Wisconsin Avenue. The landmark building was redeveloped into Cityline at Tenley in 2005, and is located on top of the Tenleytown Metro Station. The mixed-use complex with its original curved Deco structure boasts 204 luxury condos for sale, as well as ground floor retail. A Whole Foods Market is across the street.
