The Court Condos For Sale
Justice Court NE, Washington D.C.
Question: When are condos for sale located in three different Washington, DC neighborhoods? Answer: When they are part of a complex known as The Court—a string of five buildings along Justice Court NE and Maryland Avenue. These luxury city homes can quite accurately be described as being in Judiciary Square, Stanton Park, and the Capitol Hill Historic District.
Located right across the street from the Senate office buildings and two blocks from the U.S. Supreme Court, these buildings were delivered in 1971, but were designed with a traditional Federal architectural style that is in keeping with their place in the historic district. Very conservative, very austere. These are serious residences for people doing serious work. There is no gaiety allowed, not even a smile when you’re walking your dog to the actual Stanton Park just two blocks away.
There are 66 residences at The Court, with a variety of floor plans in both flat and townhouse styles. Condos for sale in this complex have recently listed from the $400,000 to $700,000 range. The square footage is quite generous, ranging from 600 to 1250, and all units have fireplaces and French doors leading to either patios or terraces. Floors come in either parquet or strip hardwood, and the kitchens range from nice to very nice. Open design is the norm here, and townhouses also have skylights.
