West End, Alexandria VA Homes For Sale

Out in the western portion of the City of Alexandria is an area known as—wait for it—the West End! This isn’t a neighborhood per se, but rather a collection of communities including Seminary Hill, Cameron Station, Varsity Park and Landmark/Van Dorn. There’s plenty of history in the West End. Fort Hunt occupied the highest point of Alexandria during the Civil War, serving as part of a ring of strategic Union Army installation protecting Washington DC.
