More about Properties for Sale near Greensboro Silver Line

The real estate scene near the Greensboro Silver Line continues to evolve, and will for quite some time. That’s due to the expansion of Tysons Corner with plans to grow the current population of around 20,000 to 100,000 by the year 2050.

For now, properties for sale in the area include single-family homes that range from modest 1950s era cottages to mega estates in McLean or Vienna. Meanwhile, condos and townhouses for sale tend toward luxury residences that start in the mid-six figures and quickly climb from there.

But there will be even more properties for sale in the years to come as Tysons Corner (now known more simply as Tysons) continues its rapid in-fill development.

Additional Information about the Area

Although Tysons has deep historical roots, it didn’t hit its stride until the early 1960s when Fairfax County began encouraging commercial development around the intersection of Routes 7 and 123. Before long, the mammoth Tysons Corner Shopping Center emerged—the largest mall in the state.

Today, the giant Tysons Center has been joined by other major businesses such as Tysons Galleria, as undeveloped land between Tysons and McLean continues to vanish.
