The Eisenhower Avenue Metro Station with its Yellow Line service is an above-ground station located at 2400 Eisenhower Avenue in Alexandria, Virginia. The station primarily serves the associated communities of Eisenhower West and the Carlyle District.
It is the Carlyle District, however, that has especially blossomed in recent years. It presents something of an anomaly—a relatively new neighborhood that has sprung up within the old and historic City of Alexandria. The Carlyle District spans 77 acres and features office space, retail, entertainment and luxury condos for sale.

More about Properties for Sale near Eisenhower Avenue Yellow Line
Real estate shoppers won’t find large numbers of single-family homes for sale near the Eisenhower Avenue Yellow Line. This is an area almost exclusively reserved for condominiums, especially newer luxury developments such as Carlyle Towers with its 549 residences.
That said, there are some houses as well as duplexes and townhouses, in the area. However, those tend to be on the outskirts of the Eisenhower East community, or in nearby neighborhoods such as Huntington on the other side of the Beltway, or Braddock Road to the north.
Additional Information about the Area
Eisenhower East was developed as a transit-friendly community, leaning on the close proximity to the Capital Beltway as well as the Eisenhower Avenue Metro Station. The Carlyle District was originally an offshoot of Eisenhower East but rapidly gained its own identity as a live, work and play community with a highly urbanized feel.
Located west of Old Town Alexandria, the Carlyle District is home to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Offices and the National Science Foundation, as well as the National Investors Hall of Fame and Museum.
Local residents and visitors also enjoy hotels, movie theaters, a Whole Foods Market, Café Old Town, the Carlyle Club, a dog park, tennis courts, a farmers market and a large plaza with an open lawn where musical performances take place.
