The 14 condo units at Adele range from roughly 650 to 2,100 square feet of interior living space, with one to two bedrooms. Some of the residences have dens that can also be used as work-from-home spaces or extra sleeping quarters. Regardless of whether a particular model falls into the City or Estate designation, the finishes are uniformly refined. The Estate Collection layouts also include direct elevator access, and many of the condos have some sort of private outdoor space. The eighth floor penthouses are quite impressive, but each unit offers its own unique style. Features such as French doors, oak floors, and open gourmet kitchens with white quartz counters and Thermador and Gaggenau appliance packages help characterize these luxe dwellings. One common question about the Adele condominium has to do with location—is it Downtown or is it Dupont Circle? It is something of a moot point, as the two communities are generally regarded to overlap to some degree. Neighborhood borders tend to be amorphous at best in the nation’s capital. But if you want to put a fine point on it, the southern boundary of Dupont Circle is often considered to be M Street and the Adele is at 1108 16th Street, a block south of M Street. So, Downtown DC it is! It is also worth pointing out that the location is quite close to the western boundary of Logan’s Circle.
Putting geographic markers aside, this recently renovated building is close to a multitude of attractions including fun shops, popular restaurants, trendy bars, top museums, tasty bakeries, live performances, and awe-inspiring national monuments. There are also numerous nearby public greenspaces including McPherson Square, Farragut Square, Lafayette Square, President’s Park, and the massive National Mall.
