Glover Park Condos For Sale

The centrally-located Glover Park neighborhood is tucked away from Washington, DC’s hustle and bustle, but it’s still centrally located. It’s also a place with a great sense of community and varied selection of properties, including townhouses, apartments and condos for sale—both old and new.

As you might expect from its name, this cozy borders Glover Archbold Park with greenspace to the west and the south. But despite the quiet serenity, residents can stroll just a few blocks to restaurants and businesses along Wisconsin Avenue to the east.

Glover Park History

The land that now makes up the Glover Park neighborhood dates back to a 17th century land grant. It was rural farmland and the butcher trade in the early days, and once considered part of North Georgetown. A banker, Charles C. Glover, purchased a portion of the land in 1911 and set out to plat it for residential development. The building boom increased after 1926 due to print advertising.
