eNvy | LUXURY CONDOS | NAVY YARD | WASHINGTON, DC
Located at 70 N Street SE, Washington, DC 20003
MLB fans take note: There is a new luxury condominium in the nation’s capital that offers the best seats in the house. Said building goes by the name of eNvy, and was delivered in 2020 by developers Jair Lynch and MacFarlane Partners, with a strikingly modern design from Hord Coplan Macht. Now that the word salad is out of the way, let’s delve into some hard and cold facts about the condominium in the Navy Yard area, at the gateway to Nationals Park.
First, eNvy is part of a hybrid mixed-use community that also includes upscale rental apartments at The Kelvin. Second, there are 127 condo residences within the 11-story eNvy building, with studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom layouts ranging from around 546 to 1,182 square feet. Condos for sale have recently been priced between$400,000 and $900,000. The development is inside the Ballpark District, which is itself part of the larger Navy Yard community. Other new condo buildings in the area include Avidian, The Bower, and Kennedy on L.
Condo Features and Building Amenities at eNvy
The flats at eNvy have a very modern appearance, with Kahrs Canvas Oak floors throughout and giant windows with solar roller shades. The open gourmet kitchens are set into single walls, allowing for a very appealing look. Silestone quartz counters, Vogue Esmer glass backsplashes, white Lucido cabinets and Bosch stainless steel appliances complete the culinary picture. Also of note are the barn-style bedroom doors, and chic baths with Kohler vessel sinks planted on top of white quartz vanities.
According to the developers, about a third of the units overlook the ballpark. Those without a private view can head up to the fabulous roof deck with a kitchen, lounges and a direct line of vision into the open end of the stadium. Other amenities include a modern lobby with concierge service, a stylish two-level library, TV and e-lounges and a courtyard with a Zen waterfall. A high-tech indoor/outdoor fitness center was designed and programmed by FX Studios (a subsidiary of the famous sports brand Under Amour). There’s also option parking for purchase, and free bike storage.
An Active Lifestyle at eNvy in DC’s Navy Yard
While some residents at eNvy might be content to watch baseball from the rooftop, the super-close proximity to Nationals Park invites in-person participation. After all, where else can you skip the parking and simply cross the street to buy a ticket? It’s a great location for those with an active lifestyle, with next-door attractions like The Bullpen at Half-Street Fairgrounds, outdoor concerts, the Truckaroo monthly festival of food trucks during the summer, and nearby waterfront attractions such as Yards Park, Canal Basin, and boardwalks that wind along the edge of the Anacostia River.
Those who enjoy food, from outdoor lunches to elegant sit-down dinners, will appreciate the convenience of eNvy. You’ll be steps away from Tap99, Basebowl Ramen, Swizzler, RASA, El Bebe, Leo’s Eatery, Andy’s Pizza at Atlas Brew Works, and so much more. The optional garage parking was mentioned above, but why not also stay fit by bicycling, walking or jogging? It is, after all, a fun and highly walkable community. And if you want to travel longer distances, the Navy Yard-Ballpark Metro is just two blocks away.
