The term “lengthy” is quite literal—the road itself dates all the way back to Native American footpaths and was turned into a military wagon road in 1755 by colonists. The arrival of the Metro station more than two centuries later, pushed the popularity envelope even further.

This is a neighborhood with a lot of urban energy as well as quiet side streets with large homes for sale.
