This tucked away enclave began its residential development in the late 1930s, taking a break for the World War II years and then resuming in the mid-1940s. Home building took a more lengthy pause in the 1970s, picking up again more recently with some new custom home construction.
Homes for sale in Woodmont generally aren’t for first-time buyers or bargain hunters—prices start around a million dollars and have recently climbed as high as $3 million.
