Located at 300 Garrett Morgan Boulevard in the community of Summerfield, Maryland is the Morgan Boulevard Metro Station. This above-ground transit stop provides Silver Line service as well as the Blue Line. The suburb is about nine miles from Washington, DC, a reasonable distance for commuters, considering both the Metrorail option and the close proximity to the Capital Beltway. Other Metro stations in the area include Landover and Largo Town Center.

Summerfield is in Prince George’s County, an area that invested heavily in new home construction just prior to the national real estate crash of the mid-2000s. And while property values have rebounded considerably since their low point, buyers will still find large, upscale homes for sale for much less than other parts of the Washington Metropolitan region.
