Chevy Case Condos For Sale
Chevy Chase condos for sale include those on both sides of the Washington, DC and Maryland border. That’s due to the fact that there’s two sister communities by the same name, divided by an invisible boundary line. Originally, the varying portions of Chevy Chase were all part of the same colonial land grant.
There are detached single-family homes in both neighborhoods, just as there are luxury condos on both sides. But the newer concentration of condominium and townhouse construction is more prevalent in Maryland. The rapid uptick in development to the north is also taking place in nearby Bethesda.

Where the Condos Are
Connecticut Avenue and Wisconsin Avenue are both major north/south corridors that run through Maryland and DC. You’ll find a lot of condos and cooperatives along Connecticut Ave in the Northwest part of DC, including Chevy Chase. Many of these are grand old buildings from a bygone era, along with 1960s and 1970s International-style structures, and even some newer buildings.
On the Maryland side, Wisconsin Ave is where you’ll find a lot of newer construction, including very posh brownstone townhomes. Also in Maryland are smaller subdivisions and villages such as Chevy Chase Village, West Chevy Chase Heights, Martin’s Additions, and North Chevy Chase. Friendship Village is also closely associated with Chevy Chase in Maryland.
Shopping, Dining and More
There’s a ton of bars and restaurants in the Chevy Chase area, typically running along both of the aforementioned major roads. These include Banana Leaf Restaurant, Buck’s Fishing and Camping, Blue 44 Restaurant and Bar, Parthenon Restaurant & Chevy Chase Lounge, Macon Bistro & Larder, RANGE by Bryan Voltaggio, Jaleo, Black’s Bar & Kitchen, Sushiko Chevy Chase, Mon Ami Gabi and more. The vibe ranges from casual to very posh. Popular among the young hipster set is Comet Ping Pong where you can munch on pizza and wings, drink craft beer, play ping pong and listen to live bands.
The retail list is equally extensive with a block-long upscale outdoor shopping experience known as The Collection at Chevy Chase, along with The Shops at Wisconsin Place, the Chevy Chase Pavilion and more.
